SUSTAINABILITY
Ducktail Rainwear is designed and produced with consideration for material choice, production proximity and product longevity.
Production takes place in Lithuania, which allows for close oversight of the manufacturing process and supports local employment, fair wages and responsible working conditions. Key materials are sourced from France, keeping the supply chain within Europe and reducing transportation distances.
Ducktail products are made in small quantities rather than for mass production. The focus is on durable, versatile rainwear designed to remain relevant beyond seasonal trends and to be worn over time.
Since 2021, selected raincoats have been made using recycled polyester in both the outer fabric and lining. These materials are certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), covering social, environmental and chemical requirements throughout the production process.
The collection gradually transitioned towards fully recycled rainwear. This direction remains central to Ducktail’s long-term product development.
